As of November 1, 2010, the new website not only features the entire current issue of the monthly magazine, but also a regional, interactive Calendar of Events. Susan Shamoon, President of Shamoon Advertising, said “I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard in various planning meetings, ‘We need one local source where we can check to see what’s happening in the Delta on certain dates so we won’t plan an event that will conflict.’ Our website’s Calendar of Events will be such a source.
“With this interactive Calendar of Events, the person in charge of an event can submit the details of the event as soon as they’re available. We’ll check it for accuracy and upload it, complete with a map.”
